Hi there, My name is Caitlyn and I was born with Cerebral Palsy. I am nearly fifteen years old.
I have a job delivering pamphlets. I collate them first with my mum’s help. I go with my mum and my dog. I walk with my walking frame. I love to play heaps of sports. I love to play soccer, cricket, wheelchair basketball and I also like to swim. Last year I went in a swimming race. It was at the Aquatic Center and I won two medals. It was a 50m pool. I was very excited to get my two gold medals. I got one for backstroke and one for freestyle.
I like to go to the movies especially Gold Class, Vmax and 3D. One day I would like to travel to Denmark that’s where my step-dad comes from and I would also like to travel to Italy. My favorite foods are spaghetti, my step-dad’s famous Danish sausages, Danish hamburgers and all take-away restaurants.
I have an older sister. I go to a school called Glenallen. It is a special school for people like myself. It has a swimming pool. I go to the hall with some of the other people at my school and we play all sorts of sports. I do lots of work in my classroom. We also do other activities such as cooking, art, P.E and we also have assemblies in the hall. My favorite TV shows are Home and Away, The Simpsons and Rollercoster on channel ABC.
